Privacy, Verification & Safety Policy

Linisin Athens processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Greek data protection law. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights of Clients and Verified Cleaners. Data controller: Linisin Athens, Athens, Greece. For requests, contact Linisin Support.

  • 1. Information We Collect From Clients. We collect the Client's full name, phone number, email address, service address, booking preferences, booked hours, communication history with Linisin Support, payment confirmation of the Linisin Platform Coordination Fee, and any information the Client voluntarily provides in messages, reviews, or incident reports.
  • 2. Information We Collect From Verified Cleaners. We collect the Partner's full name, phone number, email address, area of operation, experience, availability, self-declared skills, identity document (passport or national ID), Greek residence permit / visa / right-to-work document where applicable, IBAN or preferred payment channel where relevant, time-in and time-out records, and any communication with Linisin Support and Clients through the platform.
  • 3. Why We Collect Information. We process personal data to coordinate bookings, verify identity and right to work, prevent fraud, protect the safety of Clients and Partners, communicate about services, record legal acceptances, keep accounting records for the Linisin Platform Coordination Fee, moderate reviews, handle complaints, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform. Legal bases include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations under the GDPR.
  • 4. Identity Documents. Identity documents and right-to-work documents are collected only for verification and legal compliance purposes. They are stored in a private storage area and are accessible only to Linisin Admin and the Linisin Coordination Team on a need-to-know basis. Identity documents are not shared with Clients or with other Partners.
  • 5. Data Minimisation. We collect only the personal data reasonably necessary to operate the platform. We avoid collecting sensitive categories of data (such as health or religious data) unless expressly required, and we do not ask for banking passwords, card PINs, or the full contents of any payment account.
  • 6. Data Storage and Access. Personal data is stored in secure infrastructure inside the European Union or in jurisdictions offering an adequate level of protection recognized by the European Commission. Access is restricted by role. Sensitive documents (identity, permits, payment screenshots) are stored in a private bucket accessible only to Linisin Admin. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described, for legitimate business interests, or as required by law.
  • 7. User Rights. Under the GDPR, Clients and Partners have the right to access their personal data, to request correction, to request erasure, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα). To exercise these rights, contact Linisin Support. Some data may need to be retained where required by law (for example, accounting records).
  • 8. Client Safety Rules. Clients are asked to secure valuables, cash, jewelry, documents, keys, and high-risk property before the service; provide honest information about the service address and scope; treat the Verified Cleaner with respect; avoid unsafe or unlawful requests; and report any safety concern to Linisin Support without delay.
  • 9. Verified Cleaner Safety Rules. Partners are asked to arrive on time, wear appropriate work clothing, follow reasonable safety instructions, decline unsafe or unlawful tasks, not bring unauthorized persons to the service location, not consume alcohol or drugs on the job, respect the Client's privacy and property, and report any safety concern or incident to Linisin Support without delay.
  • 10. Reviews and Public Information. Reviews may be shown publicly on Linisin Athens after moderation, typically showing the Client's first name only. Verified Cleaner public profiles may show a first name, area, experience, and rating; identity documents are never shown publicly. Clients and Partners should not share sensitive personal information in reviews.
  • 11. Serious Incidents. Serious incidents (theft, injury, violence, harassment, significant property damage) should be reported to the appropriate Greek authorities. Linisin Athens will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and courts and may share relevant records to protect users and comply with the law.
  • 12. Early Access Operational Data. During the Early Access / Pilot Phase, Linisin Athens keeps additional operational records — including manual admin review decisions, waiting list entries, availability notes, coordination messages, and internal safety notes — for the purpose of coordinating bookings, protecting users, and improving the platform. Access to these records is restricted to Linisin Admin and the Linisin Coordination Team on a need-to-know basis.
  • 13. Transportation Support Data. When a Transportation Support Fee is coordinated, Linisin Athens may record the distance, transport option, timing considerations, and payment channel used, so that the Client, the Partner, and Linisin Admin have a consistent record. Transportation records are used for coordination, reliability, and dispute handling, and follow the same access, retention, and deletion rules as other booking records.
  • 14. Maintenance Mode and Service Pause. During maintenance mode or an emergency safety pause, new sign-ups and new bookings may be temporarily disabled. Existing data remains protected under this Policy; access continues to be restricted by role. Linisin Support remains reachable during such periods for privacy, safety, and data-related requests where reasonably possible.
  • 15. Data Export, Archive, and Lawful Deletion. Clients and Partners may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Linisin Support. Where deletion is not immediately possible, Linisin Athens may archive the affected records in a restricted-access area and restrict further processing until the legally required retention period ends, at which point the records are securely deleted or anonymized. Records that must be retained by law — including accounting records for the Linisin Platform Coordination Fee, verification records, and records related to safety incidents or open disputes — are kept for the periods required by Greek and EU law and are not subject to deletion on request during that time.
  • 16. Contact. For privacy questions, data requests, or safety reports, contact Linisin Support through the Contact page. This Policy may be updated from time to time; the version accepted at the time of booking or application is recorded in the audit log.
